THE ZEN POND

Imagine a Zen garden, but a pond!   No sand or rakes involved.    Move those fish about, add some rocks - keep the fidgeters at the table busy.....create a scene, a moveable tablerunner.     You could also make a childs play mat - let them add buildings with blocks, let the count the flowers.   Possibilities people!!!

MOTHS!

 A new series I am playing with - moths.....giant, fabulous moths.    These have all been created for the 8x12 inch and 8x14 inch hoops.    Not sure where I am going with them just yet.   

The designs are a mix of applique and fill stitches.   They are super easy even if your cutting skills are a bit lacking!!

Copper Butterfly Journal

This one is a mix of tissue paper, muslin, free standing lace butterflies with a few beads and fancy thread thrown in for good measure.     Painted with copper and teal paints to create a verdigris look.    How good  would your bills look, stored in that!   Inside fabric is a hand dyed fabric.  

Silver Kitty Journal Cover

This one has a lot of techniques.    Button with tie for closing, an inside pocket, machine embroidery - both designs and stitches from the machine.    A4 Size.    The cat from memory is from Kara's Kreations.
