AT THE DROP OFF

So the robot quilt morphed into the scrappy bag, and then the leftovers created the start of "At the drop off" .    

As I finished each idea, I had to add more borders - once I start with a fish quilt, you can guarantee it will change dramatically from the original idea.

The batik fabric was cut roughly, utilizing the print as a background coral. 

That led to another border of navy.....

I doctored up the jellyfish from Urban Threads creating a new outline in embird, turning them into appliques.    A beautiful rainbow organza created the perfect jellyfish.
